Custom Marching Band Platform
Challenge: Union County High School (UCHS) needed a director’s platform for their band to replace the scaffolding previously used. The platform had to provide an elevated, clear view of the football field so the band director could effectively lead formations during football season.
Solution: Panel Built delivered an 8' x 8' cold-rolled platform, standing 12' tall, to offer a clear view of the football field. The platform was custom powder-coated in UCHS Panthers purple and gold, with galvanized bar grating for weather resistance. OSHA 2-rail handrailing was added for safety, and the cold-rolled construction allowed UCHS to save on both cost and lead time.
