Challenge: Mayport Naval Base faced a growing need for additional storage and workspace within their facility. With storage space running low, they sought a solution that would optimize their existing square footage while maintaining an organized and efficient environment. The goal was to create a structured and accessible area for tool storage and daily operations without expanding the building’s footprint.

Solution: Panel Built provided a 37’ x 19’ steel mezzanine, instantly increasing Mayport Naval Base’s usable space by 740 square feet. Designed to take advantage of unused vertical space, the mezzanine effectively doubled their available floor area. To further enhance the functionality of the new space, Panel Built installed an 8’ x 12’ modular office beneath the mezzanine. This enclosed workspace was outfitted with climate control, electrical connections, and a professional finish to support daily operations.
