22′ x 24′ Mezzanine w/10′ x 24′ Office Under

This month’s winner is Dave Frey with Engineered Handling. Dave captured this photo of a completed 22′ x 24′ mezzanine with 10′ x 24′ in-plant office underneath.

This mezzanine incorporated structural steel columns with roll-formed C-channel joists to achieve the 150 PSF rating while maintaining less than 15″ between clear and deck height. With a 6′ sliding gate, this mezzanine will provide ample storage area while also allowing space for a comfortable office underneath.

This project is a perfect example of how modular building allows quick and easy expansion by building up instead of out.
