Prefabricated Stair System Integrated Into A New Shop Building

July’s Project of the Month goes to these prefabricated metal stairs installed with the construction of a new shop building in Oregon.  The bar grating used for the stair treads and landing are fully hot dipped galvanized, while the remainder of the stair assembly utilizes a gray powder-coating. So, even with different finishes on the components, the stair system keeps the same sleek gray color as the building’s other metal features.

Overall, the stair system provides a good example of Panel Built’s abilities to design and incorporate our stair systems outside of an industrial setting. With the project’s owner being a top architectural sculptor in the world, Panel Built made a concentrated effort to provide a set of stairs that met his high standards. And we are happy to say that he was very pleased with the final product.
