31' X 11' Press Box

This month, we highlight the delivery of a custom 31' x 11' press box, designed and constructed by Panel Built in collaboration with Matthew Muis of Prodigy Building Solutions, for Mifflin High School in Columbus, Ohio. After their previous press box was damaged, Mifflin High needed a reliable, quick solution to be ready for the upcoming football season.

Panel Built delivered a prefabricated, dove gray press box tailored to meet the school's needs. The structure features three functional rooms, each equipped with durable countertops and six sliding windows, providing clear, practical views for announcers and other game-day operations.

To expedite the process, the press box was fully prefabricated in our facility, enabling quick and efficient installation. Using a crane, the unit was seamlessly placed on-site, minimizing downtime. The design also incorporates a roof hatch for direct access to the filming platform.

The press box's load-bearing roof includes a welded steel canopy for weather protection and a sky-white railing for enhanced safety, making it a dependable platform for videographers and technical staff. Additionally, custom logo decals were added to match the school's branding, ensuring the press box blends perfectly with the existing stadium design.

This project showcases the versatility and efficiency of modular construction while delivering a high-quality, durable solution for Mifflin High School's game-day needs.
