25' x 71' Navy Barge

June's Project of the Month is this 25' x 71' modular building installed on a barge ship off South Carolina's coast for BAE Systems, serving the US Navy. This modular building was designed to withstand saltwater conditions. It includes 16 rooms across two stories, providing essential space for various ship needs. The challenge was to ensure durability in a marine environment.

Marine-grade materials and sealants were used between aluminum-clad panels for corrosion resistance and longevity. The modular building adds offices, storage, and operational spaces to the ship, enhancing its functionality and adaptability to mission requirements. This project highlights expertise in delivering tailored modular solutions for maritime environments, where rigorous standards for durability and functionality in naval operations are met.
