Project of the Month January 2016

Our January 2016 Picture of the Month winner is a 52′ x 48′ x 32′ three wall inplant sold by Harris Handling out of Charlotte North Carolina. The existing space prior to this Panel Built modular system was a sheetrock knee wall which was used for a break room. It was open to the warehouse making it noisy and dirty. Using a Panel Built modular system, Harris Handling provided a turn key system including: permits, electrical, roof top unit for HVAC, fire suppression with controls, and VCT flooring creating a clean and safe environment for employees to enjoy their break. The short amount of time it took to design, permit, and install the functional space is what makes modular building unique. From the demolition of the knee wall to completion of usable space was only 3 weeks. The customer is extremely pleased with the construction time frame, quality of the system, as well as the tradesman. The employees can now also carry on conversations thanks to the insulated Panel Built wall panels.
