Large Guard Booth for Duracell

January’s Project of the Month goes to this custom Guard Booth delivered through Bryan Bear and McGee Storage and Handling. The customer, Duracell, wanted to increase their security at their distribution center. The main goal was to monitor employees and guests visiting the site.

Panel Built delivered a 20’ x 20’ guard booth. In addition, two canopies were added on each side that are 26’ x 24’ and 20’ x 9’. The canopies served as checkpoints for security, including metal detectors and security turnstiles.

Inside the large guard booth, accommodations were made for the security officers, including desk space and a modular restroom. The interior and exterior walls were finished in dove gray to match the existing structure, withstanding wind loads of 115 mph.
